All About TROUTSITE the IIIrd !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Although I said this on the homepage, welcome to TROUT?! in my DDR?! everyone!
TROUTSITE III aims to do the same thing as the original iteration of TROUTinmyDDR?! did; which is bring awareness to playing arcade rhythm games in the UK, and provide a space that says, hey! It's going to be hard at first... but let's do this together!
If my hard work can help even one person with a question they had or to feel less alone, it will all have been worth it!

For a long time, there have been concerns that DDR and other arcade rhythm games are dying out. I don't believe this is a sentiment that will ever fully go away - but it is one that's pretty meaningless to me!
Sure, I won't lie to you and say their popularity hasn't waned - but new games and new mixes are still coming out, and there are still huge communities that would live and die for these games. I hope my efforts in part will help keep the DDR scene in the UK and elsewhere alive.

When I started out, I had to dig through ZIV and old youtube videos and my own courage to figure out what I was doing. I hope my site makes this a little easier on new fans - and sheds light on old ones.

TROUTSITE III is, as before, 100% hand-coded! And while you may see some game graphics here and there, I'm trying to put more effort into making unique graphics too! My expertise starts and ends with the pencil tool in msPaint ... but I have fun with it ^_^

The TROUTSITE III moniker is a spoof on BEATMANIA III, which is another oft-unappreciated part of rhythm game history :]c
You might want to ask - where was TROUTSITE 2.0 ? Well, 2.0 existed for a while... but when I finally found the determination to get back to work on it, I realised why I'd been putting it off for so long - I really hated it!! So TROUTSITE III became the iteration I wanted everyone to see :]
